After graduating from Carnegie Mellon’s directing programme, Andrew started his work there as an associate director.

During his tenure with Castle Hill Musicals, he oversaw the staging of more than twenty productions, both on and off Broadway. After his return to Primary Stages in the role of Artistic Director, he led the company’s move to 59E59 Theaters, then to The Duke on 42nd Street, and most recently to The Cherry Lane Theatre.

Additionally, Andrew is in charge of the Perry-New Mansfield’s Works Festival in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. At this festival, he has directed The Cherry Sisters Revisited by Dan O’Brien, The Receptionist by Adam Bock, Spiced Vodka by Rinne Groff, and Mama Hated Diesels by Randall Myler and Dan Wheetman. In the past, Andrew has had teaching positions at Carnegie Mellon University, Syracuse University’s Tepper Semester, and Primary Stages ESPA.
