It was his uncle Noor’s match against India in the 2010 T20 World Cup that inspired him to become a cricketer.

He is an opening batter.

Ibrahim is a fan of Indian cricket coach and former captain of the Indian national team, Rahul Dravid.

On August 11, 2017, he made his List A debut for Mis Ainak Region in the 2017 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament. Later, on September 12, 2017, he played his first Twenty20 match for Mis Ainak Knights in the 2017 Shpageeza Cricket League.
