Career

Before joining WESH, Jaclyn worked at WCPO in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Traffic Reporter/Fill-In Anchor. While in The Queen City she covered a variety of stories, including the tragic Fifth Third Bank shooting. Before that, Jaclyn held a similar position at WLOS in Asheville, N.C. She loves a good sports story; turning feature stories for FOX Sports Florida early on in her career.

While attending UF, Jaclyn was on the University’s dance team for four years and traveled to the Final Four in Dallas with the Men’s Basketball team. She continued her love of performing as a Ben-Gal cheerleader for two seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals. DeAugustino also fostered her passion for sports as an In-game Host for the Cincinnati Reds. Outside of the newsroom, She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (especially to new beaches), practicing yoga and Pilates, and finding the best brunch spots in Orlando.
