Birkin's most famous collaboration was with French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg, with whom she had a daughter, Charlotte Gainsbourg. She also released several solo albums, including Di Doo Dah (1973) and Baby Alone in Babylone (1983). Birkin has been married three times, to composer John Barry, actor Jacques Doillon, and singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. She has three children, Kate Barry, Lou Doillon, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
